New backflow installation

New irrigation, a fire line, a tenant improvement, or a purveyor upgrade notice means a new backflow assembly, permitted and installed to Title 17. We match you with a certified installer.

A brand-new backflow assembly is the highest-ticket work in this trade, and it's usually driven by something new on the property: a fresh irrigation system, a new fire line, a tenant improvement that changes how water is used, or a purveyor notice requiring protection that was never installed. Each of those creates a new cross-connection the state expects you to guard.

New installation is more than bolting on a valve. The certified installer we match you with surveys the hazard to select the right assembly, pulls the permit, and installs to California Title 17 and local plumbing code, with correct placement, clearances, drainage for the relief port, and freeze protection so it survives a Valley winter. Get any of those wrong and the assembly fails inspection or its first test, so the details matter.

Once it's in, the installer runs the initial certified test and files the new assembly with your water purveyor, putting it on the annual-testing calendar from day one. Commercial jobs (large-diameter lines, fire systems, and vault or backflow-enclosure work) run higher than a straightforward residential irrigation install, and the pros in our network scope and price each one to the actual site rather than a flat guess.
